Fair use rationale for Image:Setyourgoals-mutiny.jpg

[edit]

Image:Setyourgoals-mutiny.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • released on May 27 → year?
  • "San Francisco-based positive-hardcore band Set Your Goals just finished up their new video for "Mutiny!," the first single off their upcoming debut album, Mutiny!" → first single. Mention it on the infobox and lead as well
I feel this is a case of the publication simply calling the song a single because it had a music video, despite it never being released to radio (or separate digital release e.g. on iTunes), which is why I didn't mention it in the lead/infobox. Yeepsi (talk) 15:58, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I know that can happens often, but still if they called it a single, we can't say otherwise, unless you find a source calling it just "song", "track" or something in that vein. Otherwise it needs to be added as a single. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:17, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Overall

[edit]
  • The sputnik review is quite a bit all over the place regarding genres. I do believe the genres should be pop punk and pop, per "The result is really just pop/pop punk music". Thoughts?
I wouldn't object to adding pop, but the only downside is that IPs would remove it repeatedly. Yeepsi (talk) 15:58, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Add the source to the infobox, it will support pop as a genre. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:18, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If that happens you can always revert. The source covers it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:22, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
