Hello Gustavo. I am currently watching the livestream for the final Coimbra show, and before the second suprise song, Chris Martin just said that this was the first ever stadium show run fully on batteries. There were only two things from your notes that I haven't corrected yet: The wristband replacement (on it right now) and Music of the Spheres' release year. Overly detailed

Although this is a good article that contains a lot of important information about this successful tour, a lot of the information here (such as all of the notes under the set list, the list of personnel, and list of records broken) may be considered overly detailed according to Wikipedia's inclusion policy. The list of records broken is extensive because well... They broke that many records. I do agree the set list notes are very extensive, but we can't just delete all of it, what are your suggestions? GustavoCza (talk • contribs) 21:08, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

Some records seem to be of more significance than others. For example, having the fastest ticket sales ever in Spain is an important record to note, while being the first act in history to schedule two shows on a single tour at Snapdragon Stadium seems significantly less important. As for the set list notes and cover guests, I am not sure as to any specific alternatives I'd have to that other than deleting them all. Maybe taking a look at similar good Wikipedia concert tour articles might help. 1986londonvelv (talk) 21:17, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

Both achievements are notable, I would say the difference lies in how impressive one is compared to another. To make the table simpler, however, I removed some lines that could be adapted (ex. "First act in history to schedule three, four, five and six shows on a single tour" instead of multiple lines for each quantity) and removed the prose from the attendance records. Just merged the "Covers and guests" and "Special songs" notes, then made a few removals and/or simplifications. By the way, I just remembered that you mentioned the personnel list: I wrote it as it was on the tour book and I will not change it in any shape or form, all these people worked hard and helped to put the show together, they deserve recognition, that's why Coldplay has an end credits rolling at the end of all concerts. Infobox Gross & Attendance

Billboard updated the list of the 10 highest-grossing tours of all time and included these numbers for Music of the Spheres, I didn't updated the tour table because the individual boxscores have not been made public yet. GustavoCza (talk • contribs) 20:14, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Live in "Manila"

Should a note stating the Philippine venue given that it was marketed as being held in Manila, when in actuality the venue (the Philippine Arena) is in a city (Bocaue) outside the metropolis? Hariboneagle927 (talk) 00:16, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

Barcelona Shows weren’t sell out

Look at number #16 https://data.pollstar.com/Chart/2024/01/121123_ye.top300.concert.grosses_digital_1040.pdf According to Pollstar, the Barcelona show is not completely sold out. The capacity for each show is 57,190, which implies that the total number of tickets sold is 224,761 out of 228,760 (98%) Newpicarchive (talk) 14:19, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

It's not fan made, I bought their tour history last year. Pollstar allows the buyer to download it as a PDF or Excel file, so I uploaded the PDF in a host to use it as a source, since most of their old boxscores are difficult to find. That publication has nothing to do with touring industry (Billboard Boxscore or Pollstar), The attendance numbers cited in the article are not exact, as indicated by both the mid-Pollstar report and the Pollstar year-end report. Renaissance had its numbers revised due to exchange rates, the attendance remained the same. Coldplay's Barcelona shows were reported to be sold out by Live Nation Spain, which are the people who report to Pollstar in the first place (https://news.pollstar.com/2023/06/05/ticket-sales-and-demand-have-never-been-stronger-qs-with-the-team-of-live-nation-spain). Aside from breaking the attendance record, the band also had thousands of people outside the stadium because they could not get tickets (https://www.lavanguardia.com/cultura/20230529/9001167/fiesta-masiva-coldplay.html). Out of 132 shows, four were not sold out? In the city where they had the fastest sales ever (https://www.expansion.com/directivos/estilo-vida/2022/08/22/6303c8f1468aeb975d8b4629.html), and the venue confirmed the shows were sold out? Venues/promoters also sometimes withhold tickets until the last minute and then make them available for sale 24-48 hrs before the date. This will inevitably change the reported capacity once all tickets are available for sale. Additionally, the listed capacity will often change to reflect promoters/venues pulling back certain tickets at the last minute that were previously for sale so they can artificially report the show sold out.
