Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of April 29, 2021, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Pass Pass
2. Verifiable?: Pass Pass
3. Broad in coverage?: Pass Pass
4. Neutral point of view?: Pass Pass
5. Stable?: Fail
6. Images?: Pass Pass

Unfortunately a quick fail: Article currently not stable, further some unreliable sources. (Sources 20,24,42=not WP:RS) Rest of the criterias not checked.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— CommanderWaterford (talk) 09:38, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @CommanderWaterford: Your qualms regarding the sources have hopefully been resolved. Before proceeding with anything more, I would appreciate a clarification of what you see as the article's current instability. The GA criteria define a stable article as one which "does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute". This article is engaged in neither. Yes, there have been spouts of vandalism but those have been properly addressed—and have thus inflated the number of edits. The recent edits have, mostly concerned, CE. My edits were in regards to prose issues highlighted by the previous reviewer, an noted exception, by the GA criteria, to how an article is deemed stable. Thanks.
