Proposed deletion
[edit]Keep - I contest this proposed deletion in that it was put on under the belief that it is an "Arbitrary collection of information with no apparent notability". No apparent notability? This man is the most world famous death row prisoner their is and this collection if important reference material is only a part of that. It is not as if the musical content in the list is by no-bodies, but to the contrary. I am happy for this information to be moved into the main article but not deleted.AWT (talk) 06:39, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Lead section has extra information
[edit]I have tagged this article's lead section as needing clean-up because it has extra information that is not in the body of the article. See MOS:LEAD for purpose of the lead. It provides an accessible overview of the whole article. Information in the lead should be in the body of the article too. See WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY. The information and opinion in the lead is not a summary of anything in the body of the article, it is only found in the lead. Articles should be written for a reader who is assumed to know nothing about the article topic. In this case, the article should clearly explain who Mumia Abu-Jamal is and what he did, when, and why he is now a polarizing figure for this to be asserted in the lead. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:26, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
