But WHY?
[edit]That's what I've always wondered about mousetrapping.
Well thats easy its all about money. If you can design a mousetrap that opens numerous pages and you are being paid 50 pence per page you can make a lot of money.
Say a owner of a web page wants to increase the views on their site in an attempt to sell items images time etc then they can approach someone who will add their page to his or her mousetrap. They pay an agreed amount per page that has been viewed above and beyond the normal daily viewing figures. Now the mousetrapper ensures that if someone enters their trapthey could get the page to open five , ten , twenty times by preventing the victim from escaping and every time the victim closes one of the pages another ten, twenty or more open up. Ching ching.
Now if the victim is a child or vulnerable person and the web page being pushed is porn (which is normally the type of page) we have serious issues. Further more if it is child porn and your computer is serviced etc you go to jail. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tony65tony (talk • contribs) 21:45, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
