Rhipsalis Horrida
[edit]The mousetail's scientific name is Rhipsalis Horrida. This plant is native to South America. Long, densely spined stems resemble "Mouse Tails". It requires a more tropical atmosphere than desert cacti, including higher humidity and warmer winter temperatures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.15.178.98 (talk) 16:37, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- According to Tropicos here, Rhipsalis horrida is a synonym of R. baccifera or R. baccifera subsp. horrida. I've now added this to the list. Peter coxhead (talk) 10:56, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
