Stub?
[edit]should this have been marked as a stub instead of marking it to be deleted? --Walter Görlitz 21:54, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
There are links to the page, so I addedd what I believe are appropriate stub tags. I will contact Darwinek to inform. --Walter Görlitz 22:00, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Of course this should have been marked as stub, not tagged for deletion. I have removed the delete tag and re-formatted the available information to make it look like a stub.Staffelde 02:16, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Papal brief
[edit]A paragraph reads:
In 1848, the monastery was granted the status of an abbey by Pope Pius IX and its first abbot, Dom Bernard Palmer, received the abbatial blessing on 18 February 1849. That same year, the adherence of the monastery to the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance or Trappists by a papal brief.
There is clearly a verb missing in the last sentence, (so I have tagged it with {{clarify}}) but I'm not sure which verb would be accurate. Perhaps "confirmed", but I don't know what the papal brief actually did. ColinFine (talk) 09:54, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
