Matsuyama or Matuyama?

This seems to be the commonly accepted translation of his name, even if the pronounciation is not considered correct; It's usually cited as "Matuyama-Brunhes Reversal" in academic papers, even if it is acknowledged that the spelling was initially incorrect. I suppose that would mean that this is the correct spelling, as this is the name he is most commonly known by. PeaceThruPramana26 (talk) 20:51, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
