Most appropriate name for this page

[edit]

User:CFA has added Template:Original research to this page since the current title of "pro-motivational agent" hasn't been used in the literature. Drugs that increase motivation have widely been studied and described in the literature, but a formal name for these drugs is still in the earlier stages.

I've done some searches to see what the most appropriate replacement title for the page would be. Here are the results:

"motivation-enhancing drug" OR "motivation-enhancing drugs"
^ Google: 157 results (only one of which is Wiki)
^ Scholar: 11 results

"motivation-enhancing agent" OR "motivation-enhancing agents"
^ Google: 7 results
^ Scholar: 3 results

"motivation-increasing drug" OR "motivation-increasing drugs"
^ Google: 2 results (both Reddit)
^ Scholar: 0 results

"motivation-increasing agent" OR "motivation-increasing agents"
^ Google: 1 result
^ Scholar: 1 result

"pro-motivational drug" OR "pro-motivational drugs" OR "promotivational drug" OR "promotivational drugs"
^ Google: 3 results (two of which were Wiki, one a thesis)
^ Scholar: 0 results

"pro-motivational agent" OR "pro-motivational agents" OR "promotivational agent" OR "promotivational agents"
^ Google: 5 results (all of which were Wiki)
^ Scholar: 0 results

Based on the results, it seems that "motivation-enhancing drug" is the most commonly used name and hence the most appropriate title for the page. I'll make a request to have the page moved to that title. Thanks. – 76.174.0.57 (talk) 06:36, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moved per WP:RM/TR request - if a better name is discovered a move discussion may be beneficial. ASUKITE 14:45, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
