Piano-tuner reference

[edit]

Morris Frank was never a piano tuner. The reference cited (Vanderbilt Magazine) is mistaken. I know this because I personally knew his wife, Lois (Sellmer) Frank, and she told us (a close relative and myself) that it was a long-standing misconception about Frank. Requesting assistance to find a reference that documents this as incorrect. The editor of the cited reference has been contacted. algocu (talk) 19:18, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Letter to Dorothy Eustis

[edit]

The quotation from Frank's letter to Dorothy Eustis is taken from autobiographical material by Frank. A quite different quotation appears in Putnam, 2nd edition, pp. 25-6, or 1st edition, p. 20. Putnam characterizes Frank's letter, correctly, as "rambling and almost without punctuation." Since I do not have the actual letter in front of me, I cannot say with absolute certainty what it contained. But in accordance with the rules about reliable sources, I think we should favor Putnam's version over Frank's version. Bruce leverett (talk) 05:26, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Photo of Morris Frank Park historical markers

[edit]

The photo of the historical markers in Morris Frank Park does not improve this article or the Seeing Eye article. The photo does not include any interesting information about Frank or The Seeing Eye that is not already in the articles. Bruce leverett (talk) 16:06, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
