Does any one know if it has reopened yet because as of end October 2008 it was still a building site —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.169.141.54 (talk) 15:07, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The museum was reopened in April 2009. SteveStrummer (talk) 00:42, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Propagandist mistranslation - Summiters or Tamers or Challengers...NOT at all "conquerors"

[edit]

Pokorit' means "win over", no violent connotations or belligerence here... in an exploration context, can also mean "to summit" (pokorit' Everest, etc). More widely, it means "charm" or "to romance successfully" (like seduce minus the sexual component; no negative forms, but does refer to one interested party actively gaining the attention of the other).

this conqueror nonsense reeks of cold war half-truths and distortions at their finest
