Can someone explain...
[edit]...why the Montachusett Regional Transit Authority's URL is https://www.mrta.us/ and that calls it "MART", but not the Montachusett Authority Regional Transit? InedibleHulk (talk) 10:15, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- I couldn't find anything useful in a newspaper search. My off-the-cuff guess is that "MRTA" was too similar to "MBTA" for branding purposes. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:42, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for trying. Could also be distancing itself from "MRSA", now that you mention it. "MART" definitely feels quicker, fresher and super. InedibleHulk (talk) 09:16, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
