Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... Only the recently added plot summary has been tendentiously copy-pasted by IPs. The rest of the article prior to the summary and my updates to the cast and lead paragraph is without issue. See Wikipedia:Help_desk#Monster_High:_Boo_York,_Boo_York and User_talk:Atlantic306#Your_unnecessarily_vandalizing_edits_on_Monster_High:_Boo_York,_Boo_York --AngusWOOF (barksniff) 23:55, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have replaced the summary with my own writeup. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:55, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My summary seems to have been replaced with the CSD tag again, which doesn't make any sense, anyways to the admins, please review https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Monster_High%3A_Boo_York%2C_Boo_York&type=revision&diff=846806278&oldid=846801324 and consider my version going forth. Notability is not asserted

[edit]

The lede does not assert notability for the video, and none of the sources is reliable (WP:RS) with the possible exception of Billboard. Billboard may or may not be sufficient to establish notability for the soundtrack: I am not an expert in WP:NMUSIC. Notability is not inherited. If only the soundtrack is notable, then the article needs to be re-written to be about the soundtrack. The video can still be mentioned in its own section, but cannot be the subject of the article. -Arch dude (talk) 17:03, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest you make an article for the soundtrack since it has already been certified Gold in the UK. BrutBROWS (barksniff) —Preceding undated comment added 21:38, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Um, no let's not split off the soundtrack again. It is strongly tied to film release. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:41, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
