I love Pink! Grabbing this for a GA review. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 23:03, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
I'm passing this article for GA. There are a few issues with it and there's more work that can be done, but it's definitely GA-quality. I'm a little surprised that it languished for so long in the queue, probably because it's so long and the topic may not be something many reviewers know much about. That's certaintly true about me, but looking at the prose and a few randomly-chosen references, it's good enough to be a GA.
I think that you should seriously consider moving forward with this article and improving its quality for an FAC. To do that, though, you need to get the prose copyedited and looked at by other editors familiar with its topic (rock music albums and artists, for example). I also think you should have a couple of editors go through your references to check them for accuracy and to make sure they support your assertions. Speaking of your references: they're not formatted in a way that I would format them, but that's probably due to a personal editorial choice and because it wouldn't work for the articles I tend to focus on. As a result, I'm not willing to say that it was the wrong choice, but I recommend consulting other editors who specialize in this type of article and topic. In other words, is the referencing format typical for these kinds of articles? I'm ignorant about it, but it certainly shouldn't get in the way of its promostion to GA.
You obviously worked very hard on this article, so congrats and keep up the good work. Best, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 03:37, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Figureskatingfan: Hi there! Wow, I was no expecting this. Thank you so much for the kind words and for the overall feedback. I really appreciate it, and I'm definitely taking this article on the FAC journey! Best regards, TabooMatters94 (talk) 15:02, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Tabboo, you're welcome! It was fun learning about how one of my favorite albums came to be; for example, I didn't know that Pink found Linda Perry's number "by accident" in her makeup artist's phone book. Not something that would happen today! Yes, take it on that journey and let me know how I can assist. Best, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 15:35, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
