Perhaps this shouldn't be a Wikipedia article
[edit]Frankly, this does not seem notable enough to be on Wikipedia, and this page probably violates WP:NOTDICT. However, due to my strong and idiosyncratic personal convictions, I refuse to delete Wikipedia pages for these reasons, so I just note it here to feel like I've done something. Make of this what you will. Dingolover6969 (talk) 11:02, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- The article is a lot more than just a dictionary entry though. —ajf (talk) 12:35, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- Respectfully, I have to disagree; the sections of this article are, at time of writing: intro, origins, meaning, usage, see also, & references. Leaving aside intro, see also, & references, the remaining sections are the coining of the phrase, its meaning, and examples of it being used. This is well within the purview of a dictionary and not particularly within the purview of a Wikipedia article unless the term is otherwise notable for some reason. But, ultimately this is a judgement call and you are free to have your own opinion. Dingolover6969 (talk) 13:13, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
Photo caption is wrong
[edit]It says "A staircase with two missing stairs..." They're not missing at all. They're broken. That inaccuracy doesn't help the article at all. HiLo48 (talk) 00:28, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
