[edit]1930 or 1936? Viz http://www.operone.de/komponist/miki.html Schissel | Sound the Note! 19:32, 27 December 2006 (UTC) (edit: the composer's own webpage is linked and assuming veracity- admittedly some composers e.g. Sorabji do lie about their yob :) - 1930 it is!)
Operone is mistaken; he was born in 1930. It's not only his own page (that could be fabricated,as noted); all major public databases I checked, including Japan's Diet Library, US Congress Library and British Library, give his yob as 1930.
Possible notice of death
[edit]Could some-one who can read Japanese check this:

Thanks for the link, Racklever. Yes, you're right. Miki has passed away. For me who knew him personally and worked with him for several years, these are shocking news... The Japanese article is already updated; it seems someone is updating this one as well, or at least it was alreay updated in the edit window, so I won't touch it for now. What a way to start the year! I'm lost for further words, i'm sorry... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.82.188.101 (talk) 15:39, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
