Mary Morstan section title

[edit]

The section for Mary Morstan is currently titled "Mary Morstan (later Watson)". I propose renaming this to simply "Mary Morstan". The section title should use the character's commonly recognizable name, and "Mary Morstan" seems to be the name by which the character is generally known. This would be consistent with the article title for Irene Adler, which isn't "Irene Adler (later Norton)" though Adler uses the name Irene Norton after her marriage. Sounds good to me, so I just changed it as well as the first sentence below it. Feel free to continue discussion here or make further edits if desired. ~EdGl talk 01:04, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, EdGl. I've updated the redirect Mary Morstan and other redirects that link to that section. If we use "Mary Watson, née Morstan" in the first sentence of her section, then should we likewise use "Irene Norton, née Adler" in the first sentence of Adler's article for consistency? Sure! Your ideas have all been good, so please be bold. ~EdGl talk 15:17, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great, I'll make the change on Irene Adler's page. Thanks again! Miles26 (talk) 21:38, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
