I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ministry of the Center (Ritsuryō)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "v272":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:57, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was move per request. No need for disambiguator as no other article title shares the same name. See also WP:PRECISION and here.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:36, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ministry of the Center (Ritsuryō)Ministry of the Center — There's no reason for the bit in parentheses, as this is the only article with that name.—Bueller 007 (talk) 05:56, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename

[edit]

I suggest this article be renamed "Ministry of the Palace" because 中 in this context does not indicate position but is an abbreviation of 禁中, a term for the imperial palace. 199.119.233.164 (talk) 18:52, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, I have a similar opinion with you. However, there must be authentic source for the article name. And I do not think "the Palace" is a good translation. "Ministry of the Palace" sounds like another department Kunai-sho 宮内省 (lit. the department of the palace internal (affairs)) that deals with non-political aspect of the Imperial Palace. On the other hand, Nakatsukasa-sho (中務省 lit. the department of the inner affairs) deals with policy-making. I do not know what is the most common translation of this ministry (I do not think "ministry" is a good translation since it is not headed by any minister (daijin 大臣).). Anyway, there must be some sources for the usual translation of 中務省.--Poohpooh817 (talk) 22:46, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
