The first North American publication of Minimanual of the Urban Guerilla was by The Berkeley Tribe in its June 7, 1970 weekly edition, where it was reprinted in its entirety after first being translated by NACLA staff. At the time, I was one of the official editors of The Berkeley Tribe. This writer is Matthew Landy Steen and was a member of The Red Mountain Tribe.
