  • Songwriting credits have a discrepancy, see on the section Background and composition.

  • Written by Amy Morrey and Nottet and produced by Luuk Cox → See below
See answer below.

  • Some information might need to be removed due to Celebmix.

Background and composition

[edit]
  • Five references in a row it is too much. Start by removing Celebmix (explained below) and the maximum should be three in a row, otherwise just cite each one. Example: dark[1], electropop[2] power ballad[3] and so on
I tried to fix the massive amounts of sources.
  • You should use the inlay notes of the album and not Hung Medien. On top of that there is some discrepancy between the credits in the songwriting.
I now used the album credits. These are the credits as listed on Selfocracy, and I don't quite know what you mean with "discrepancy".
Luuk Cox is credited for songwriting on the song per Hung Medien. On top of this the article is missing a credits and personnel section. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 01:09, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What Cox is credited for is "music", but that doesn't count as songwriting. I've added a Credits and personnel section now. Cartoon network freak (talk) 06:32, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • in various countries → see below on release history.
  • however, another decision was made "at the last minute", as he felt "Million Eyes" would appeal more to listeners → instead, "Million Eyes" was picked "at the last minute", as Nottet felt it would appeal more to listeners. Any other sentence would be good, I don't like the flow of "however, another decision" it's just repetition of the same idea.
  • During the song's refrain, Nottet sings → where are you going with this? Some critic made a point regarding the chorus?
I just gave some lyrics, which are backed by the source given. I've seen this in many different articles, and I guess it's not that unimportant since it's the chorus.
I will accept since it's also part of the sample. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:35, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • In the last sentence the same happens with four sources in a row.

Reception

[edit]
  • Moustique's Lorfèvre → Moustique's Luc Lorfèvre (first time using his name so use his first and last name)
  • Jonathan Currinn of CelebMix → the information regarding this website needs to be removed as it is not a reliable source, writers are not paid and anyone can write stuff there once applied.
Stuff written by Currinn is definitely reliable since Currinn is a certified critic with a degree. I already had this discussion in one of my GANs; I can link you to the thread if you want to.
Please do so. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:10, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Million Eyes" was named the best song of 2016 by Wiwibloggs, and was nominated in the Hit of the Year category at the 2017 D6bels Music Awards. → should be on the first paragraph
I just felt that it did not flow well in the first para, which is ending with a negative review. Also, an accolade isn't exactly a review (which the first para consists of 100%). I can change it though, if you want me to.
But an accolade it isn't exactly chart performance. It is fine if it ends with a negative review. I have done it a couple of times.
  • I was apprehensive regarding the wiwiblogs, but after a closer analysis, it is a legit website as it has been featured on CNN, New York Times, Newsweek among others.
Indeed
  • on record charts after its release. → on some record charts after its release.
  • It had originally peaked at number nine in December 2016 → what do you mean? It was re-released after its first peak?
I want to say that that was the song's original peak before it dropped down and climbed up again to a higher peak. Should I word this differently?
Yes you should. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:10, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MarioSoulTruthFan: I've worked on the issue and removed the latter altogether, as it wasn't that important actually. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:24, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Music video

[edit]
  • on 27 October 2016,[28] → you don't need the youtube source here, it's already on RTBF
  • " It was shot by Zeb Daemen of Caviar Productions." → Information on CelebMix needs to be removed and replaced by a reliable source
See above for CelebMix's reliable status.
All  Done.

Live performances

[edit]
  • In December, the singer performed on the seventh season of Danse avec les stars on 16 December 2016, → repetition remove the first December
  • He also sang "Million Eyes" on Madmoizelle Music, and Virgin Radio → In the same month he also sang "Million Eyes" on Madmoizelle Music and Virgin Radio
worded slightly different
  • for Le Grand Studio RTL → as well as for Le Grand Studio RTL
  • and The Voice → remove the "and"
  • It would be nice to have other sources replacing the Youtube ones, but I know it isn't easy.
I don't quite think this is needed since the videos were released via the channel of the respective TV show/radio station. That's just my opinion.
Sure, but we never know when if the videos are going to ling around forever. But it is fine.

@MarioSoulTruthFan: Hi and thank you very much for your review! These are my comments. Best regards; Cartoon network freak (talk) 23:20, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MarioSoulTruthFan: Addressed. Cartoon network freak (talk) 06:36, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MarioSoulTruthFan: Wow, I'm very glad you passed this article as the song is very personal to me and I put a lot of work into the article. This may sound weird, but is there any chance you could also get to Selfocracy? If that was promoted as well, I would be able to nominate the whole topic for GA. Anway, just disregard this if you're too busy. Wish you a Merry Christmas! Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:25, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Cartoon network freak: I'm in the middle of reviewing a couple of articles, on top of that I'm improving Mars' article and other stuff in my life. Not much time to spare, later down the road I might take a look l but I'm sure someone will get to it before. It's ok to ask as well. Happy Holidays!
