I made some formatting changes and also included the full text of the historical marker erected near the site. I realize the location of the sign ("by the roadside") can't be substantiated, however I lived in the town for 18 years and have been there many times. I also made corrections to location reference "Millfield" as "Milfield, OH". Gave Sigmond Kozma a separate heading. I am of the opinion that this article could use more information about the Sunday Creek Mining Company and other details about the disaster itself. There is more to be said here and I will likely add more material in the future. --Lucasaltic (talk) 04:29, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree about needing some more info. Something about the causes, if known, the company, the changes that were made, etc. Also, a new lead in would be good as right now it contains the exact word-for-word text of the roadside marker. I don't know if the Historical Society owns the copyright of the text or how that works, but it is clearly copied from elsewhere rather than being original text and it is unreferenced. Plaigerism?

[edit]

Steelerdon, I agree that the beginning was copied word for word from the marker. I actually included the marker section to highlight that fact. I thought about obliterating the lead-in section and rewriting it, but decided to leave it to give others a chance to comment. If I ever get more time and conviction to give this article a complete overhaul, the lead-in will certainly be the first thing I change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lucasaltic (talkcontribs) 17:17, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
