[edit]Is this the Mike Stone of Clay Records? If so, someone might want to add links in the 2 articles to each other and remove the duplicate on the Mike Stone disambiguation page. Boleyn2 (talk) 09:12, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Why was this removed? Stone is mentioned in Geoff Emerick's book "Recording the Beatles" as starting out at Abbey Road as a teenager.
Stone began his career as an assistant recording engineer at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in England. At one point, while he was still a teenager, Stone even had the opportunity to work on some sessions for The Beatles' Beatles For Sale. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.66.143.175 (talk) 14:50, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Mike "Clay" Stone and Mike Stone
[edit]We appear to have two different Mike Stone's merged into one article here.
Mike "Clay" Stone (The former owner of Clay Records) is very much alive and is currently the manager of English rock/metal group Demon. Apart from the reference to Demon in the opening paragraph, this article does not represent him at all. It all belongs with the other Mike Stone who died in 2002.
The "Clay" in his name should therefore be deleted and any reference to the band Demon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tronkmeister (talk • contribs) 08:39, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- I am belatedly correcting pages linked to Mike "Clay" Stone. – Fayenatic London 13:49, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
Requested move 10 August 2015
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: moved, unopposed for over two weeks. As Clay Stone is apparently a completely different person I won't leave it redirecting to this article, so someone might need to through the incoming links and fix them. Jenks24 (talk) 17:44, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
Mike "Clay" Stone → Mike Stone (record producer) – Well explained in the previous Talk section. Mike "Clay" Stone is a different UK record producer, apparently still alive, associated with Clay Records. See http://www.discogs.com/artist/261780-Mike-Stone-2 for credits of the real "Clay" stone SheamusPatt (talk) 15:25, 10 August 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 07:28, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
