Location chosen by MCC
[edit]The location of Westminster was obviously chosen because there was nowhere within oddly shaped Middlesex that could be got to as easily from all other places in the county. Does anyone have a source to back that up? MRSC (talk) 08:49, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I would imagine that a pragmatic decision reached possibly as a compromise, by majority vote or consensus, of a large body of councillors and a bench of justices, would be impossible of analysis such as to fix one reason for that decision. One could not cite any one given motive as an encyclopaedic statement of reasons. LG02 (talk) 20:51, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- That's it! It is probably on record in the minutes. [1] Thanks. MRSC (talk) 15:50, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
