[edit]What sort of sources are you looking for? This is an Italian writer who has never been translated into English. He is a respected and important writer in Italy, and if you knew anything about the Italian book market it would be clear inasmuch as most of his novels are in print, and published by one of the most prestigious Italian publishers, Einaudi. Check the Italian webpage if you don't believe what I say. And they keep publishing his books! They wouldn't do that if nobody read him. So he's at least a reasonably successful highbrow writer. Since he's a living author, age 55, there's not much about him on the web in terms of academic essays. Italian book magazines are mostly printed, not web-based. There may be scholarly I have added links to interviews that are in Italian. One of the interviews was published on the website of the Italian state TV, which is something like the BBC (maybe not in terms of quality, but in terms of the share of the broadcasting market it has). I've added three academic essays on Mari that I've been able to find with a cursory search on the web... the Italian academia seems to consider this writer worth commenting...93.40.135.204 (talk) 13:04, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
