unbalanced stub

[edit]

The article doesn't mention his dubious attitude towards the military dictatorship in Brazil when he was teaching there in 1958-1969. His 'philosophical' conceptions are arch-conservative, as illustrated by his writings against the Declaration of Human Rights on his own website. The article on the nl.wiki is much more detailed on his official biography than this one, but he probably wrote it or let it write by a friend, it looks more like an hagiography. --Minorities observer (talk) 05:38, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not a jesuit

[edit]

Mgr Michel Schooyans was not a Jesuit, but a catholic secular priest, incardinated into the Archdiocese of Mechelen–Brussels. Alas, the quality of the rest of the article is most dubious and poor, too. -- Bartvs (talk) 13:53, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not a Jesuit indeed. From Jesuit sources as I checked it out being myself a Jesuit from Belgium and having studied under the direction of Mgr Schooyans decades ago — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.69.246.71 (talk) 17:25, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
