Biography of Living Person

[edit]

I created this article. I'm aware that it relies heavily on the subject's autobiography, other than mentions in A Random Walk Down Wall Street and the Numerix website, there is not much published. However, I don't think that's because the subject is unimportant, but because he founded private companies most of which have since been sold. When he started doing computerized trading and marketing quantitative financial software, no one thought it was important. However as a current professional in the field, I can attest to the tremendous important of Goodkin and his companies. The other evidence of his significance is the quality of the people he has worked with over the years.

For the record, I do not know the subject and have no interest in this article except to fill in an important piece of the history of quantitative finance.
