POV issues
[edit]A number of statements and themes stood out that highlight that there are some POV issues that are pushing an Albanian nationalism narrative in this article:
- Sokoli went to the northern Albanian regions (northern Kosovo, Tregu i Ri etc.]] to fight - Since when was northern Kosovo and Novi Pazar apart of the Albanian region?
- During the liberation of Prishtina from the Turks...More than a century after, his grandson, Tahir Sinani would continue these patriotic efforts - Sinani would die fighting for the liberation of Kosovo in the Kosovo War.' The use of the word "liberation" is an emotive loaded term. In addition, I have never encountered a Western scholar referring to the Kosovo War as a "war of liberation".
- Words such as exemplary heroism, die a hero, rare act of bravery are also emotive loaded terms.
- Using Albanian names for locations, WP:MPN would dictate that Ottoman names be used for this period.

- I will address your points accordingly:
- * During this historical period, these regions were regarded politically and ethnically Albanian (see Names of Kosovo#Arnavduluk (Albania)) - if you want to get into the topic, that's fine.
- * It was indeed a liberation from the Turks - the local and regional population rebelled to overthrow the Ottomans, therefore it can be considered a liberation. Likewise, for the Kosovo War, the vast majority of the population who actually live there will call it a liberation, but there is obvious controversy surrounding the matter, so that can be changed.
- * Those were the words used in said sources. He was considered to have died a hero in an act of bravery, there is nothing wrong with that.
- * Ottoman names can indeed be used in relevant sections. Botushali (talk) 00:34, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
