problems with History section
[edit]The history section of this article is gobbledygook. I think the Italian page was just plugged into translate.google. I don't speak Italian, so I cannot offer much in the way of fixes. I'm just going to clean up what I can and remove the rest.

That first paragraph you deleted (appropriately, by the way) was attempting to describe the origins of the town's name. The original name, Manzil Yusef, is (I think) Arabic for Village of Joseph. I'll see if I can find an English-language source that gives a good explanation of the derivation of Mezzojuso's name. Mad Thinker (talk) 12:47, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
GianLorenzo Perniciaro, renaissance man
[edit]I've removed him from notable people. I cannot find any information on him. If there is, please provide a citation / proof of WP:NOTE. --Kunzite (talk) 19:35, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
