Incredible price tag
Almost $2 Billion for a open air stadium no larger than the existing Giants Stadium. I am glad I am not a NJ taxpayer —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.84.60 (talk) 01:33, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Seating Capacity
Is 82,500 according to the official website, not 81,000. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.121.97.216 (talk) 01:19, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Cowboys Stadium has 80,000 fixed seating. It can be expandable on special occasions to over 100,000 but technically wlll seat less than FedEx Field and Meadowlands Stadium. (drhaase, 02:42 PM EST on October 11, 2009)

Locker Room Question
Will this stadium have three locker rooms, one each for the two 'home' teams and one for the visitors? 70.88.213.74 (talk) 22:25, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- I understand that the stadium will have four locker rooms. Two on each end of the stadium. On each side the Jets and Giants will have there respective locker rooms along with a visitors locker room. When the Jets are playing as the home teams they will use their locker room on one end of the stadium and use the visitors locker room beside theirs as an overflow team meeting area. The visiting team will use the visitors locker room besides the Giants locker room on the other end of the stadium. When the Giants are the home team it will work the same way for them. - This is exactly the qustion I came here to learn about today. I see that it is not in the article, but if true, it is unique, and should be in the article. Can this be verified?
- I found two articles indicating the presence of four locker rooms and added this information to the article Transpoman (talk) 17:36, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

Are we sure of the Name.
The Giants website is calling the stadium New Giants Stadium.[1] However the jets are referring to it as New Jets Stadium.[2] Is it possible that like the exterior panels being able to change colors, the stadium will alternate names between who is the home team.--Subman758 (talk) 02:57, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- This may end up being the case given the current economy. I added a recent news article from the New York Times that mentions this possibility.Transpoman (talk) 04:11, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- It is highly unlikely that the stadium name would change depending on the day's event. This would be logistically difficult on any number of levels. I cannot think of an example of this happening at facilities today, where the official name changes back and forth. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.--MikeUMA (talk) 20:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
From what I read today, the official name is actually going to be called "New Meadowlands Stadium" until someone steps up and purchases the naming rights. As time goes on, and it becomes more clear, the name of the article MAY have to be changed. Hopefully not though. Kjscotte34 (talk) 12:06, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Correct, "New Meadowlands Stadium" is the official name at this time. Hopefully this stadium's naming rights don't change as frequently as (what is now known as) Sun Life Stadium in south Florida. That page has multiple redirects from the stadium's previous names.--MikeUMA (talk) 20:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
That's what I thought. It's weird, and I'm hesitant to request the article's name to be changed with the "New" in front of it. I know it's only temporary until naming rights are secured. I'll try and search for a source at some point soon. Kjscotte34 (talk) 14:16, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
