About Me
[edit]My name is Scott; a 44-year-old man from Albany, NY. I have been on Wikipedia for a number of years making random edits to the topics which interest me. I'm either too lazy or not quick enough to create articles, but it'll happen someday. Maybe? I love history and that's really what brought me here all these years ago. Albany is full of history, but the city itself is terrible at preserving it, unless you think I-787 being on top of the old Fort Orange site is "preserving history".
I graduated from HVCC with an associate's degree in business in 2018. Following that, I attended and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with my bachelor's. Now that I'm middle aged, it's probably time to grow up. I am a proud member Generation X -- the link between the baby boomers and millenials.
I love getting involved in local projects on this site -- I think the Capital District wiki pages need some work and I'm willing to do what I can. Now that I'm divorced and on my own, my goal is to get down to NY City for one of these conferences. They look like fun and I could learn a lot. Considering I have little technical skill on the site and have no ambitions of being an administrator, something like that could teach me a few more tricks on here.
