Reopening of South Sub
[edit]I have added a "citation needed" flag to the statement that the South Suburban is "mooted for reopening". In fact, the line never closed; it is heavily used today for goods traffic and empty stock working. As far as reopening for passenger traffic is concerned, this might or might be "mooted", but I am not aware of any serious plans on the table. If I am wrong about this, I hope someone will provide some details plus a citation. Mike Marchmont (talk) 18:53, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Following my above comment, I am still unable to find any information about the line currently being "mooted" for re-opening, and since no other editor has come forward with any further information, I have edited the article accordingly.Mike Marchmont (talk) 16:17, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
