Leaving CSI:NY

[edit]

Announced today, that she's leaving CSI:NYhttp://www.imdb.com/news/ni3273707/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamncasey (talkcontribs) 20:44, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why the name in Greek?

[edit]

Why is their a Greek spelling of her name in the opening paragraph? She wasn't born in Greece and we can only suspect that this spelling is accurate, as it's not listed on her American birth certificate. So why must it be here? What's next: translating American-born peoples' names into Chinese for no apparent reason? Greek letters removed. Grammarcop1 (talk) 08:37, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

She is third generation not second!

[edit]

Melina's grandfather, Nick Kanakaredes, lived in the US for over 50 years and was a naturalised US citizen - first generation. Her father, Harry was born in the US - second generation ...which makes Melina a third-generation Greek-American. It is customary to count the immigrant as the first-generation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C8:928:2001:C50F:3DF5:7718:5C61 (talk) 14:56, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
