How is it US-centric to say that a certain circumpolar plant is rare in the US? It is, in plain fact, rare in the US; and unless you accuse the plant of being US-centric by intending itself to be rare here, I see no validity to your argument. In fact, it is important to biologists not merely to know that a plant is rare, but WHERE it is rare, since it is not always rare in all parts of the world. It might be rare elsewhere or not, in which case I would love for a knowledgeable person to annotate my humble article. I have added as much knowledge as I possibly can about this plant from my post here in America; I would rather that things be added to or improved upon, rather than deleted; I would like knowledge to grow. Please do not censor an article based upon nationalistic feelings. I cannot help that I know only my own country.
