Use of German Tanks
[edit]Do we have any sources other than labor paper to support the use of German tanks (or any tanks) in suppressing the riot? I can't find any other evidence that tanks (let alone German tanks- none of which I believe came to the U.S.) were present? — Preceding unsigned comment added by VTexile (talk • contribs) 15:55, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
Its not a reference I know but the article on tanks in the German army says that the Germans in World War 1 had very few tanks and they were all confiscated by the Allies. It also says that most of them had been captured from the British or French (or US) anyway. It seems unlikely but possible that one or more found its way to this riot.Spinney Hill (talk) 08:32, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
