About the 2nd violin concerto Op.38 which was alleged to exist in an earlier version of this page
Absent independent evidence, it seems that this may have been actually Wilhelm Kempff's violin concerto Op.38 in G minor (1932/rev. 1936) perhaps game-of-telephoned into an entry for Schillings. There is no evidence known to this writer for a 2nd Schillings concerto. ELSchissel (talk) 23:47, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article Mona Lisa (opera) mentions his tour of military duty in France and Belgium during which he also composed the opera, but does not give a time-frame for when this took place, and most books that mention him seem concerned with his behavior after World War I, so - when was this tour?
