Age
[edit]According to this article, Mr. Weiner was 42 in July of 2007. That means he was born either 1965 or 1966. I settled on the most probable year, 1965. If anyone wants to correct this, even Mr. Weiner himself, feel free to add a full birth date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Funkyvoltron (talk • contribs) 04:24, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- If he was 42 in July of 2007, that means he was born in either 1964 or 1965, not 1966. I have no problem leaving it as 1965, but your "most probably year" analysis would lead it to be 1964. Just wanted to clear that up. 66.65.99.20 (talk) 23:06, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Awards and nominations
[edit]I notice that Funkyvoltron removed the table I added detailing the awards and nominations Weiner has received. I'm disappointed that it was removed completely with little explanation and wanted to discuss this further. The edit summary was "actually, I'm going to revert it for now; awards should not be listed like that." I wonder if this is a matter of personal taste or if there is a guideline somewhere about the way awards sections should be presented? I got the idea for this kind of table from WikiProject_Screenwriters and specifically the David E. Kelley article. Even if the way the information was presented is not preferable to consensus I feel that it would be better to incorporate it into the article than delete it out of hand.--Opark 77 (talk) 12:51, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Conflict with Lionsgate
[edit]Just removed a sentence saying he was "demanding" during the first season. There was no citation, so I didn't know what that referred to. While looking for a cite, I found a report from Nikki Finke[1] of conflict between Weiner and the network execs, but that turns out to be more recent. So I'm not sure what the original line was about, and perhaps this recent news may eventually find a place in the article. WWB (talk) 00:45, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Job
[edit]Well he may well be a drug dealer, I have changed his job to what he has been convicted of, namely screenwriter, television producer, and director.Boils (talk) 14:00, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Years active
[edit]Regarding these two edits, no source has been provided to support the claim that Weiner is no longer active, nor have I been able to find any. To declare his career finished (presumably on the basis of recent allegations) would be WP:OR. There is evidence of him still being active, as he is credited as creator, writer, and director on all episodes of The Romanoffs [2], with filming on location in Romania taking place as recently as last month [3], [4]. ―StvnW talk 16:42, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Personal Life
[edit]I edited an allegation made because there was no citation tu support it. So it was salacious not fact based. I added other content on his denials. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2804:14C:130:8000:35D2:CA17:5722:EFE5 (talk) 05:06, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
