Some comments on the improvement I just attempted:
It is possible that in all the known Zocarini compositions the basso continuo is limited to a harpsichord (it does not include the cello, which is the solo part itself). But I don't know this, thus just a general reference to basso continuo.
I removed the statement that "it is also doubtful that his name was mentioned in Milan", because it remains completely unclear what it means to say. I also cut down the quotation of descriptions of the music, because I found it being too vague.
The reproduction of the 1740 sheet music is a source for the "amatore della musica" quotation. Still I choose to insert it as another external link, because I'm not able to provide any further references. In fact this article is the only other online publication about Matteo Zocarini I found at all. Thus my attempt to at least improve it a little bit, while the necessary work by experts is pending for a decade now.
