- Massa → ?
- Massa (disambiguation) → Massa
– I'm unable to find evidence that this Italian town is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for this article title. In particular, the Massa language, which is apparently spoken by 200,000 people in Chad and Cameroon, seems to have an arguably stronger claim to that title; given the Italian town has a population of only c.70,000, having it at the base title seems Eurocentric, which is a problem in a WP:GLOBAL encyclopaedia. Searching for the term "Massa" generally brings up articles about individuals with that surname, including the now-retired racing driver Felipe Massa. I am unsure what the best disambiguation for the Italian town would be, but I do not believe that there is a primary topic for this article title. - Inclined toward oppose. Page view data is not overwhelming, but there the Italian town is well ahead of any that are not partial title matches or near homonyms. older ≠ wiser 16:24, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- I think the link is supposed to be [1]. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:37, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- Comment Massa, Tuscany is an existing redirect to this page. 162 etc. (talk) 16:26, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. The Italian town is the most popular topic according to Massviews (above) with the language page having a tenth of those views (i.e. more people speak Massa than live in Massa, but many more people want the page about Massa town than the page about Massa language). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:37, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- I have strong doubts about the viability of page views as a metric for measuring the number of people who want to visit the page about the town in this case, as the retired racing driver's page views appear to outnumber the page views for the town by an order of magnitude. I suspect the page views for the town are being inflated by people typing "Massa" into the search bar looking for the page on the racing driver and then being taken to the page on the town. Of course, I do not believe that the racing driver would qualify for a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT over the town or the language, as a town with a population of 70,000 or a language with 200,000 speakers seem fairly intuitively more significant than a single sportsperson. - Support, and move the town to Massa, Tuscany. The criteria for Primary Topic are that the subject is more significant and/or likely to be the topic required than all other meanings, taken together. There is no case for this here. There are nine other Italian towns alone listed at the DAB, with a combined population of more than 50,000, still below that of this town but getting towards it, and also towns and districts in at least three other countries, plus many other topics. If the name of the article on this town is to be disambiguated, it should be done according to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Italy. Andrewa (talk) 16:34, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

- Support Massa → Massa, Tuscany and Massa (disambiguation) → Massa, per Andrewa. There are 37 entries listed upon the Massa (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the Italian town's renown is at such an elevated level that it overshadows the combined notability of the remaining 36 entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:40, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
- I would note that including the entries on "Massa (surname)" brings that total to over fifty. HumanBodyPiloter5 (talk) 16:25, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
