Muhammad71 (talk) 14:23, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Masjid Tanah got its name from the mosque made from mixture of Soil and white eggs. Built somewhere in 1900+/-.. by a holyman Tuan Haji Latif. He died in 1935. According to legend, a day before he died; Haji Latif asked his students to carry him to his grave to be and instructed it to be ready according to his specification. The next day, he passed away and his grave is now in the mosque compound.
The legend actually validated by his great grandson (Haji Ma'on) now residing in Shah Alam.Muhammad71 (talk) 14:40, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
