Merger Proposal
[edit]I propose merging Marymount University School of Business Administration into Marymount University. I think that the content in this page does not meet the organization notability guidelines, but may warrant inclusion in the Marymount University academics section. Updates for 'Awards and acknowledgements' and 'Athletics and recreation' sections
[edit]Hello - I'd like to ask for the following updates:
-In 'Athletics and recreation,' the entirety of the 'In 2020' paragraph could be removed as it is now outdated.
-In 'Awards and acknowledgements,' the U.S. News info is now outdated with the newest rankings released. I propose changing the language for everything above 'Additional recognitions' to the following:
In the U.S. News & World Report's 2024 Best Colleges Rankings, Marymount University was listed among 'Best National Universities' for the second-straight year. Marymount's newest rankings include:
- #320 overall among Best National Universities (#3 among included Virginia private institutions)
- #15 nationally for Campus Ethnic Diversity
- #35 nationally for Schools with the Most International Students
- #1 Undergraduate Nursing Program among private institutions in Virginia
Marymount also appeared on the America's Top Colleges list by Forbes for the first time, one of only four Virginia private institutions included. Nmunson (talk) 18:03, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
