Can we remove the tags from the top of the page?
[edit]I believe that given the extra work that has been done to this page since the tags were added, at least some of them can be removed. (particularly the "wikified" and "cleanup"). If it needs something more in the way of citations or notability (which I've added a good bit of recently), please advise what could be done to improve these areas. ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 04:34, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I just removed the "cleanup" tag, per my understanding of the guidelines listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Cleanup ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 05:29, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I also removed the "wikify" tag, since the references, links, photos, and everything else in the article is now up to standard. Please offer suggestions on whether the citations and notability tags are still appropriate. ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 07:44, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your work on the article. I removed the source and notability tags, but the article would still be improved by additional references about the article. I also made a first pass at adding internal links to the article. The external link list was excessive, so I removed all but Hopkins's web site. VQuakr (talk) 03:41, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I am currently working on gradually building up the secondary sources. I didn't know there was a standard on the external links, so thanks for fixing that. ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 03:46, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm still not entirely convinced about the notability, but it is a marginal enough case that I don't think anything should be done about it. Someone might want to page through WP:BAND and make sure. Did she ever win a Dove award, for instance? --Falcon Darkstar Momot (talk) 06:27, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- There's already something in the article about the Dove award her show received. ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 21:27, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, wrong Dove award. I'll research it. ForgetfulDoryFish (talk) 21:52, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Why is there no discussion of Wendy & Mary
[edit]With Wendy Hofheimer, Mary released three albums as “Wendy and Mary” on the Sparrow label(EMI) which are no longer available. They did release a Best of album through a joint website wendyandmary.com/ but otherwise, the websites of both women hardly mention that they ever worked together as a popular CCM duo.
