Louis Southworth
[edit]This is original research but I was curious about the claim the family brought slaves to Oregon. One of her daughters' married name was Southworth, and there are many sources ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]) for Louis Southworth who was born into slavery and settled in Oregon after living in Tennessee and Missouri. He has a creek in Oregon named after him. More fodder for someone to get an accurate family history published in a reliable source. Notes on genealogy message boards appear to confirm the connection but nothing published in a reliable source. Valfontis (talk) 00:54, 15 November 2014 (UTC)
