Translated
[edit]Hi, I translated this page from the article called "Martin Schanz" in the German Wikipedia. It is ninety percent the same but I've added and subtracted some bits. I am new to Wikipedia and am not sure how to give credit to the original authors. I've added the template above. Is that enough? Thanks for any help or improvements! - @JohnD'Alembert:Hello again! Good job with adding the box, but you must also state which version of the German article you translated and where in the history of this article you inserted it. In this case it was pretty straightforward so I did it for you. Take a look at it in the editing area and you'll notice the difference. You find the numbers by clicking on the "View history" tab and then the date of the version you want. The number is found in the address box of your webbrowser.
- The translation looks ok, but you might want to take a look at how the references are done. You can find out about it at Help:Referencing for beginners. I will also leave you a note on your own talk page about editing at the Wikipedia. Best, w.carter-Talk 10:35, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for that! I'll do it that way in future articles. JohnD'Alembert (talk) 10:51, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
