A fact from Martin Olav Sabo Post Office appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 23 July 2007. The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the main Post Office (pictured) for Minneapolis, Minnesota contained peepholes to protect the mail, and recreation rooms, a rifle range and a hospital unit for employees?
Yes I think so. The MacIntosh book, the sign by the Marquette entrance and the USPS branded switchboard.com page say 100. -Susanlesch09:43, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Does anyone have a photo of the main chandelier, seems like it would be a nice piece to have on the page.

Yes better photos from a semi-pro photographer would help a lot. On short notice I couldn't get permission for interior photographs except I had one of the floor. They said maybe sometime. -Susanlesch12:49, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Payton Chung already had a perfect picture on Flickr, there for the finding, what luck. I hope someone has some that good to replace the other photos. -Susanlesch03:32, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
