Venetian possessions
[edit]I've removed the "Venetian possessions" fragment from the 'Story' section.(diff) Per Baskar,[1] there are different interpretations of whose possession were that. This could be explained in a new 'Background' section (see some examples). --Eleassar my talk 08:27, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
