[edit]I do not know why Marmalade SDK directs to Ideaworks Game Studio. One is a company, while other is a software library. Mathew Joy (talk) 06:56, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]The information available in the Marmalade SDK page was outdated. I don't think anyone is watching it. Anyways, I've updated it. Abhi347 (talk) 07:05, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
Game engine
[edit]I just noticed that Marmalade is mentioned as a Game Engine. It's not a game engine, it's just a cross platform SDK, like Phonegap. It needs a separate game engine like IwGames or Cocos-2Dx to work on top of it to create games. I am not sure here about the proper type, so not editing it. Please have a look. - @Abhi347:Hi. Is it still not a game engine? The article contents say it's a game engine. — Smuckola (Email) (Talk) 23:35, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Cleanup, July 2014
[edit]This topic is in need of attention from an expert on the subject. The section or sections that need attention may be noted in a message below. |
@Mjjoe and Abhi347: Hi guys. I did a major cleanup mostly by way of deletion and rearrangement, as per WP:NOTWEBHOST WP:TRIVIA WP:NOTDIR and whatever else in WP:NOT. It was mostly a copy of the manufacturer's web site and marketing copy. We need an expert viewpoint to define what, if anything, exactly is notable about this subject. How does it stand apart from all other similar subjects? What can it do that nobody else can do? I began to do that at Talk:Unity (game engine) so please read my comment there for inspiration, but I don't know anything about this one. Failing that, there probably needs to be more deletion from here. I mean every game SDK supports sound, and multiple simultaneous sounds, and stuff. Thanks! — Smuckola (Email) (Talk) 23:35, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
- I cleaned up what I could. The article still needs a lot of work to be useful, but so do hundreds of other articles. Topic is definitely notable, though. Found a whole lot in a video game reliable sources custom Google search for "marmalade sdk". – czar 15:21, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
