Relocation of statue

[edit]

There is no evidence anywhere that the moving of the statue was in any way related to the George Floyd protests. The sources cited also mention that the relocation occurred because it was felt incongruous to have a British administrator's statue in front of a judicial court. The linking of this to the anti-racist protests seems purely conjectural, especially considering that Cubbon and his activities were anything but racist. In view of this, I am removing references to the George Floyd protests from this article. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.162.26.222 (talk) 14:30, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
