Hyphenated or not?

Why is his peerage hyphenated by his name not? Except that the article title and lede are inconsistent here. His father Maurice Bonham Carter is the same. So I am assuming hyphens are not allowed in article titles? Martinevans123 (talk) 14:16, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The surname is not hyphenated, the title is - like Lloyd George. I understand that titles have to have hyphens for some arcane reason. DuncanHill (talk) 18:10, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
