- ... that Mardi Gras Hangover (pictured) was billed as a "loop coaster", but does not have any characteristics of a roller coaster itself? Source: CNN, Coaster101
- ALT1: ... that Mardi Gras Hangover (pictured) was originally to be named Hurricane Force, but was never named that due to the effects of Hurricane Harvey? Source: Coaster101, Chicago Tribune
- Reviewed: This is my second DYK, so my QPQ is not required at this time.

- date, length, hook, paraphrase check works out. Image free on Commons. I think ALT1 is better worded, more interesting factoid. --Soman (talk) 17:14, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Harobouri and Soman: neither hook quite meets verification; ALT0 claims that the ride shares no characteristics with a roller coaster, which I doubt. ALT1 is based on speculation in Coaster101, which I'm not really willing to accept as a reliable source for this. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 03:28, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: Hello, I now understand that the two hooks above are misleading and I apologize for that. However, I believe ALT0 could be rewritten to be more accurate. I believe ALT1 should not be used anymore as it was just speculation.
- ALT0b: ... that Mardi Gras Hangover (pictured) was marketed as a "loop coaster", but was criticized for lacking the characteristics of a roller coaster? Source: CNN
- The fixes I made to ALT0 was the correction of the assertion the ride never had characteristics of a roller coaster to a correction to just that the ride lacked roller coaster characteristics. Hopefully this is resolved. Thank you, Harobouri T • C (he/him) 04:14, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
- all right, ALT0b (which should be ALT0a?) works for me :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 09:53, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
