Secret society
Not to be a stick in the mud, but the other Yale society entries have footnoted "Notable Members" sections; it'd be great if same were done with this entry.SLY111 (talk) 15:32, 10 March 2009 (UTC)SLY 111

The opening paragraph currently says it is not a secret society (saying it is a common misconception) while the next paragraph (and List of collegiate secret societies) say it is. We should fine out which is which; I'll add a contradiction tag. --TeaDrinker (talk) 02:30, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Primary Source Material
Much of this article contains original research and cites archival documents only available in Manuscripts & Archives. This creates problems with Verifiability and Original Research. I think it will need to be heavily redacted unless other sources are found. Nickknack00 (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
As do all Yale society articles, and, indeed, all Wiki articles that cite from printed sources. The Parks et al. book is a published book, albeit out of print. What's more, M & A is a publicly accessible site (see: http://web.library.yale.edu/mssa/services/reference-inquiries, and http://drs.library.yale.edu/HLTransformer/HLTransServlet?stylename=yul.ead2002.xhtml.xsl&pid=mssa:ru.0915&query=&clear-stylesheet-cache=yes&hlon=yes&big=&adv=&filter=&hitPageStart=&sortFields=&view=c01_1), and any researcher who wants to visit and verify more material can surely do so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.14.113.204 (talk) 04:55, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
Dubious
At least 2 dubious claims:
- Extensive art collection--no cited sources, no indication of how these collections would have been acquired
- Eight subterranean floors--On a small site, this would have been exceptionally expensive and might cause structural issues. Trying not to take this too seriously; I assume this will be removed in due course. Nickknack00 (talk) 09:38, 15:44, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Freebase ref
Ref 11: http://www.freebase.com/base/yalebase appears to be a private project and hence not a WP:RS. Besides, I can't figure out how to use that source to find the persons that are supposedly members. I suggest removal of that source and that the names supported by that source are tagged with "citation needed". Sjö (talk) 09:38, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
External links modified
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Manuscript Society. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20071209231221/http://www.yale.edu:80/lt/archives/survivalguide/index.htm to http://www.yale.edu/lt/archives/survivalguide/index.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Footnote 2 is dead link. And the text it suports is almost a meaningless distinction.
